Welcome to Celtic Roots School of Irish Language, Dance, Music and Culture located in St. John's, Newfoundland Labrador.

Celtic Roots is proud to be Atlantic Canada's premiere centre dedicated exclusively to teaching Irish Language, Dance, Music and Music Technology.

 Celtic Roots is designed to entertain and educate. 

Join us this year from July 1st -August 7th 2010. The Program offers courses to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We offer classes, private lessons, and workshops that span a wide range of artistic genres and regular performances and cultural events.

Celtic Roots offers Irish language, dance, music and arts tuition, ranging from beginner to advanced levels for adults and children (ages 5 up) with talented experts from Newoundland Labrador and Irealnd.

 We also offer classes for active toursists and visitors.

Weather its for fun or professional development Celtic Roots will offer a high energy, non competitive environment where individuals will learn something new about themselves and Irish culture with some of Newfoundland Labrador's and Ireland's leading talent. 

 We invite you to share in our Irish and Celtic heritage that continues to contribute so much to our province.

Talamh an Eisc

iDance International is excited to announce we are now offering classes in Reykyavik Iceland . iDance is Iceland's first and only centre dedicated exclusively to traditional Irish dancing. Shawn Silver will be joined by Scandanavian and Icelandic dancers from the World Dance Council to present master classes and performances throughout the country.

Ireland's Brid Falconer and Local Artists to offer Celtic Roots Summer Irish Language, Dance, Music & Arts Program

Join Ireland's Irish language teacher Brid Falconer & Irish dancers Shawn Silver, Erica MacAlulay, Coleen Dunn Pickard, Jennifer Crowe, Catherine Ducey for Celtic Roots. A program of Irish Language, dance & music.  With music directorDarrin Browne(mandolin & guitar) Allison Corbett (fiddle) Chris Hiscock (Banjo ) and Stacey Seaward(tin whislte) for an Irish cultural program like no other. Programs run from June through August. Celtic Roots is Atlantic Canada's only centre dedicated exclusisvely to teaching Irish Language, Dance, Music  and culture. Irish Cultural Centre of New England to establish Celtic Corridor with Newfoundland Labrador

Shawn Silver was in Boston November with Team Canada to do what he does best, foster trade relations and build partnerships with the international Celtic communitiy AND dance! Partnered with Meghan Allen TCRG from world renowned Boston College Centre of Irish studies dance program, they were asked to perform a tribute to Red Sox pitcher Jon Papelbon who just won the world series beating Colorado Rockies 4-3 and Silver couldn't be happier.
